Question 1

What is Stayantra?

Accepted Answer

Stayantra is an AI-native hotel operating system. Its AI teammate, Exubee, handles dynamic pricing, the front desk, staff dispatch and ratings, payments, events and OTA sync. It runs in Co-Pilot mode — it recommends, you approve — and graduates to Auto-Pilot only on a task that reaches 85–92% agreement over enough decisions (the bar depends on the task). A one-tap Kill Switch pauses all of it.

Question 2

What does Stayantra cost?

Accepted Answer

Try any package free for 1 month, no credit card. After that you pay for the modules you use, for the number of rooms you choose: a base fee covers your first five rooms, then a per-room fee that gets cheaper as you grow. Packages bundle modules at a discount — Nest (rooms only), Lodge (a hotel with a restaurant) and Retreat (full service) — or build your own from Front Office upwards. Prices are in NPR, INR or USD by region, and the price list at stayantra.com/pricing works out your exact monthly price. Exubee Cockpit and Auto-Pilot (per stream, monthly, once a stream is eligible) are add-ons, and annual billing gives you 12 months for the price of 11.

Question 3

Is Stayantra available in Nepal?

Accepted Answer

Yes — Stayantra is fully available in Nepal: eSewa and Khalti are native for NPR, Stripe handles card payments worldwide, and OTA sync works the same in every market. Any hotel can sign up at app.stayantra.com and be taking bookings the same day.

Question 4

Which countries does Stayantra support?

Accepted Answer

Stayantra runs anywhere. Pricing is offered in USD internationally, INR for India and NPR for Nepal; Stripe handles card payments worldwide, with eSewa and Khalti built in for Nepal; and availability syncs to global OTAs like Booking.com and Agoda. It is expanding across South Asia, Europe, the UK and the US.

Question 5

How is Auto-Pilot different from Co-Pilot?

Accepted Answer

In Co-Pilot mode the AI recommends an action and you approve, edit or reject it. Once a task reaches 85–92% agreement over enough decisions (the bar depends on the task), it can graduate to Auto-Pilot, where the AI acts autonomously and logs every step to an append-only ledger. A one-tap Kill Switch pauses all autonomy instantly.

Question 6

Can I switch from my current hotel software?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Upload whatever you have — spreadsheets, CSV or XLSX exports from Cloudbeds or eZee, even scanned pages — and Exubee reads it, maps it to your rooms, rates, guests and bookings, and flags only what it isn't sure about. Most hotels are migrated the same day.

Question 7

Is my hotel and guest data secure?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Stayantra is multi-tenant by design, so each hotel's data is isolated, and every autonomous AI action is recorded in an append-only audit ledger you can review. You keep full control through approvals and the Kill Switch.

Question 8

What apps and surfaces come with Stayantra?

Accepted Answer

Stayantra is a connected ecosystem, not a single app. Owners and managers run the property from Stayantra Web (app.stayantra.com); the whole hotel team works in the Stayantra Connect mobile app; guests get Stayantra Go for concierge, check-in and support; and Stayantra Marketplace gives every hotel a free, AI-discoverable booking page. You can also build on Stayantra three ways: the Website API embeds live availability and the Exubee chatbot into your own site; the public Stayantra Go MCP lets AI assistants discover and book your hotel; and the internal Stayantra Connect MCP is how Exubee itself operates the hotel. They all share one brain — Exubee.

Question 9

How is it different from a traditional PMS like Cloudbeds or eZee?

Accepted Answer

Traditional systems are passive dashboards — they store data and wait for someone to make every decision. Stayantra is AI-first: Exubee actively recommends and, once trusted, executes operational decisions — pricing, staffing, staff ratings, folios — and proves its work in a monthly Autonomy Report Card. It also fits your market out of the box: card payments via Stripe everywhere, with eSewa, Khalti and NPR native for Nepal.

Question 10

Which payments and booking channels are supported?

Accepted Answer

Stripe for card payments worldwide, eSewa and Khalti for NPR in Nepal, and availability and rate sync with major OTAs such as Booking.com and Agoda through a channel manager — so your inventory stays consistent everywhere.

Question 11

Can AI assistants like ChatGPT or Claude book my hotel directly?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Stayantra hotels are reachable through a public agent interface (MCP) that lets AI assistants and autonomous booking agents discover availability and book directly — with no OTA commission on that booking.

Question 12

Can Stayantra handle banquet halls and event bookings?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Events & Banquets module supports weddings, functions and conferences with all four common pricing models — per-plate, flat rental, hybrid and hourly. Guests can enquire and tentatively hold halls online; every space×date×slot is protected against double-booking with the same pessimistic locking that guards room bookings.

Question 13

How do I know the AI is actually working?

Accepted Answer

Every month Stayantra generates an Autonomy Report Card showing decisions made, approval rates, measured revenue lift, guardrail breaches and intervention rate per stream. It's the same report card the team uses to decide when a stream is ready to graduate from Co-Pilot to Auto-Pilot.
